Ohhh, what a little moonlight can do! Experience nature by night while walking under the silvery light of the full Hunter’s Moon with naturalist Dave Sutherland. We’ll share legends, stories and hard science about our nearest celestial neighbor. Come prepared to practice howling. The meeting location will be included in your confirmation email when you register.

Dave is an award-winning field naturalist and interpreter who served 24 years with Boulder's Open Space and Mountain Parks, retiring in 2020. He still leads nature hikes on birds, bugs, rocks, flowers, gardening with native plants, stars, local history and much more. Dave has guided education programs in Idaho, California, Costa Rica and the Galapagos Islands. He is a natural science geek who uses games and activities to inspire others with his love of nature.
