The bears are where the food is! This time of year it’s mostly all bears think about as they stay busy putting on enough fat to last through the winter. Hear how bears get ready for their long winter sleep. We’ll look for bear signs and discover the physiology and behavior of these fascinating animals on an easy/moderate hike with OSMP naturalist Betty Naughton. Meeting location will be provided when you register. For adults and kids ages 8 and up. (Location: Devils Thumb Access Trailhead on Bear Mountain Drive between Wildwood and Rockmont)
