Enjoy a short hike searching for early spring bloomers while renewing inspiration for our own blooming this season. We will finish with a tour at Chautauqua’s native garden, where pollinator of the month will be revealed! Learn how native wildflowers support our diverse pollinators, including over 550 species of native bees! Join us on the first wildflower hike and native garden tour of the year, welcoming blooms back to the land! Hike Details: The hike is a moderate 1 mile with 500ft of elevation gain. This may feel steep. Meet at the Chautauqua Ranger Cottage. Please bring water and layers appropriate for the weather. While this is a spring hike, we may still have snow and ice on the trails, please bring a form of metal traction devices. Don’t own traction devices? No problem! OSMP will have extras to borrow.
