Volunteer with the Colorful Braided Bracelets workshop for participants 8 years old and up! Participants will be invited to design and weave a thread bracelet using a braiding wheel. Participants receive a braiding wheel for use at home. Volunteers will help hand out supplies, keep things organized, and guide kids in making their braided bracelets. Skills needed: Work well with kids ages 8 and up. Organized. Previous knowledge of braiding bracelets is a plus or can learn things quickly. Hand out scissors and threads and keep items organized. May need to help or guide the kids in making their own bracelets. Location: This workshop will take place in Mt. Sanitas room at the Main Boulder Public Library. Minimum age to volunteer: 18 years old. Families encouraged to volunteer together! This opportunity is not available for court-ordered community service requirements.
