Please review these descriptions for the Volunteer positions and sign up to Volunteer. All Volunteers must ALSO submit a JLF volunteer application and attend required training (see links below). NOTE: All Communications Volunteers are vetted and must submit samples of their work to [email protected]. FESTIVAL SOCIAL MEDIA VOLUNTEER - Please apply to [email protected]: send your social media handles, write a brief cover letter to explain why you’re interested in volunteering for JLF and describe any past social media experience. Also please share any portfolio materials you might have. Social media volunteers will cover multiple sessions in real time sending quotes, photos and capturing colorful and enticing content for the festival's Facebook, Twitter and Instagram accounts. All content will be submitted and reviewed directly after each occurring panel. Previous social media experience is preferred. Volunteers should be available to send photo content, quotes and notes in real time to our onsite press team. FESTIVAL PHOTOGRAPHER - You must have a professional DSLR camera (not a cell phone) and be able to transfer photos onto a hard drive on site. All photographs will become the property of ZEE JLF Colorado and all photographers will be credited for their via the JLF website and through any later media coverage of festival. FESTIVAL BLOGGER - You are asked to commit to writing 2 blogs of 300-400 words, on site. You are creative with your words and great at painting scenarios both objectively and subjectively on a timely basis. Blog contributors will be separated into two different categories providing both journalistic and creative pieces in a real time fashion. The journalistic blogs will be due at the end of each day and creative leaning blogs will be posted and included on the JLF site with a recap of the weekend. Authors will be credited for their work. A laptop computer is required.
