Recreation Center shut downs allow our staff to do yearly maintenance and deep cleaning projects in our recreation centers. Absolutely everything in the center is cleaned, dusted, bolts are tightened, and large updates and repairs are made as needed. If you want to exercise your Marie Kondo skills and would like to give back to the recreation center you use we could use your help! Volunteers will help with cleaning and light maintenance projects during the shut down. Morning shift volunteers may also help with landscape projects around the exterior of the center. Bagels will be provided for the first shift and pizza will be provided for the 11-1PM. A light snack will be available to any afternoon shifts.
