Project Description: Join us in preparing the plantings at Scott Carpenter Park for the fall! Volunteers will help cut back the plantings and spruce up the park for the fall! Where to Park and Meet: When you arrive at the site please meet our staff at near the parking lot and entrance of the Scott Carpenter park pool. Parks and Recreation always encourages volunteers to consider carpooling or taking alternate modes of transportation to the project location. What to wear: As you know, Colorado weather can vary greatly throughout the day so please dress in layers - we will be working outside all day with limited to no access to indoor space, For your safety, please wear close-toed shoes to this volunteer project. This project will be outdoors doing landscaping, so long sleeves and long pants are recommended.
