Join our horticulture team as they work to cut back the irises in preparation for winter at Scott Carpenter Park! Tasks may include weeding, mulching, or pruning! Tasks may involve crouching, bending, sitting on the ground, etc. Come prepared for the weather with many layers and sun protection. We recommend you wear a hat, long sleeves, pants, and closed toed shoes to keep yourself safe while working with different tools and materials. What to bring: - Work gloves (we will have extra available for those that need them) - Hat - Sunscreen - Water Location information can be found at the link below. Restrooms: Facilities available Kids must be 12 years old+ to attend. Kids under 16 years of age must volunteer with their parent/guardian. All participants under 18 years of age must have a waiver signed by their parent/guardian prior to the event. All skill levels are welcome - our horticulture team will be there to help guide you!
