Join us to help wrap gifts for the youth in Parks and Recreation's Youth Services Initiative (YSI) program. YSI inspires youth and families from underrepresented communities to make healthy, caring and responsible choices through recreation, health and well-being opportunities as well as life skill development. Each holiday season, the YSI staff puts on a holiday meal for the families they serve and give out gifts to to youth in the program and we need help wrapping those gifts! Where to Park and Meet: Please be sure to look at the meeting location on the link at the bottom of the project email titled "Parks and Recreation Iris Center”. When you arrive at the site please meet tell the front desk staff about why you are here and they will direct you to the lower conference room in Iris. Parks and Recreation always encourages volunteers to consider carpooling or taking alternate modes of transportation to the project location. What to bring: We will provide all the equipment needed for this project. Please bring a reusable water bottle. We will provide pizza for the group.
