Ambassadors needed to guide pedestrians and bicyclists on the new detour crossing at Foothills Parkway and Colorado Avenue! The existing overpass bicycle and pedestrian bridge on Foothills Parkway, south of Colorado Avenue, will soon be removed to construct a new underpass. We are looking for volunteers to greet the bicyclists and pedestrians at the detour crossing location at Foothills Parkway and Colorado Avenue answer questions, press the pedestrian crossing button and guide users through this crossing. We are looking for 1 hour of time each weekday morning (7:40 a.m. to 8:40 a.m.) and afternoon (2:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.) from the afternoon of Thursday, October 31 through Friday Nov 15.
Volunteers Registered: 1 (21 available)Project information, bicycle/pedestrian detour maps, safety vests, and brightly colored “Heads Up Crosswalk” campaign shirts to be provided plus much gratitude for your assistance with helping with this transition.
