Boulder Computer Science Education (CSED) events will be held at Main Library from Dec. 3-9. Your time and talents are vital to promote coding and computer literacy in this powerful event series. Whether you are a coding guru or only use computers to send emails, we would love to have you on our volunteer team! Overview of volunteer roles: NON-TECHNICAL LOGISTICS, GREETERS, SETUP AND TAKEDOWN (Ages 13+): Help children, teens and adults find their way to CSED Week events from the information table by the fountain. Some programs are drop-in, others will have registration required. Hand out stickers, schedules and enjoy the delight of kids sharing their coding and robotics projects with you. No technical experience necessary. TECHNICAL SUPPORT, SETUP, TAKEDOWN (Ages 18+): Help set up and troubleshoot laptops, Chromebooks, etc., and aide with ConnectBoulder wifi connection. General technical experience required. ROBOT WRANGLER (Ages 18+): Mentor kids with robot play, coding and discovery 1:1 or with a robot swarm. Robots may include Cubelets, Root robot, Micro:bits, Snap Circuits, QuestBotics, LittleBits, and more. General technical experience/comfort required. VOLUNTEER SHIFTS ARE SORTED BY DATE AND THEN START TIME.
