Project Description: Volunteers will be helping prepare the North Boulder Recreation Center for a new xeric scape planting by digging in new edging around the garden bed. Where to Park and Meet: When you arrive at the North Boulder Recreation Center, you can meet our staff at the front entrance of the recreation center. What to wear: As you know, Colorado weather can vary greatly throughout the day so please dress in layers - we will be working outside all day with limited to no access to indoor space, For your safety, please wear close-toed shoes to this volunteer project. This project will be outdoors doing landscaping, so long sleeves and long pants are recommended. Tools: Tools will be provided. Volunteers should bring: work gloves light snacks (we cannot provide these in 2021 due to COVID) Water bottle Sunscreen hat Who to Call: Please call Ashley Hansen (720-584-1650) or Nik at (303-579-2940) if you have any issues finding the location or changes to your schedule the day of the project.
