From shaded creeks to craggy peaks and tiny habitats to the all-encompassing, Boulder is home to an amazingly diverse suite of life. Celebrate Earth Day with your community and OSMP naturalist Jessie on a short hike highlighting the many neighbors with whom we share the planet. Walk away with renewed hope, new friends, and a sense of pride for our part in the stewardship of these lands. Hike Details: This moderate hike is approximately 1.5 miles with 600 feet of elevation gain. Prepare for unpredictable weather by wearing layers, bringing sunscreen and water, and having metal traction devices (e.g. yaktrax, microspikes) on hand for your shoes. Parking can fill up at the Gregory Canyon Trailhead, but additional parking can be found along Baseline Rd. and adjacent residential streets.

CancelI began working with OSMP in Spring of 2021 and have since found a niche for myself in the early childhood club. Kids under six and the young at heart seem to appreciate my sense of humor and penchant for all things weird and wacky. You can most often find me at StoryTimes and Nature Play Dates, though I deliver the occasional adult hike, too.
