What: National Public Lands Day - BMA Trail Maintenance Project Site: Springbrook South When: 9:00am - 3:00pm., Saturday September 25th, 2021 Parking/Registration: Volunteers should park at either Doudy Draw Trailhead or Fowler Trailhead and either hike or ride you bike to the project site. After a long, hard year we invite you to get outside with your fellow riders and friends and help maintain and improve your trails! The work helps to reduce OSMP’s maintenance backlog, protect valuable natural resources, provide a more enjoyable visitor experience for all visitors. PROJECT DIFFICULTY TBD PREPARATION FOR THE DAY --Two quarts of water or camel packs. --Dress in layers. --Work gloves. --Sturdy boots (No lightweight shoes, or “five-finger” types of shoes.) --Long pants. --Rain jacket. --A long sleeved T-shirt. --Personal first aid kit, if you have one (OSMP will have a group first aid kit.) --Backpack to carry personal items. --Sunglasses, hat and sunscreen. --Clothing appropriate for weather conditions. Dress appropriately for Colorado weather and to work in an outdoor setting off trail. If volunteers come unprepared, you will not be allowed on the project site.
