Like ephemeral pieces of light, butterflies flit through our lives, inspiring us to joy. At a pair of upcoming concerts, the Boulder Philharmonic will perform the gorgeous Butterfly Lovers Violin Concerto by Chinese composers He Zhanhao and Chen Gang. Join OSMP naturalist Dave Sutherland and Butterfly Pavilion’s education specialist Marissa Copan for a pre-concert stroll in the Butterfly Pavilion’s rain forest, sampling music inspired by insects while surrounded by the delicate beauty of butterflies *** This program is free, but limited to 25 participants. You must register on the Butterfly Pavilion's website using this link: https://butterflies.org/event/nature-music/ To purchase tickets for the Boulder Philharmonic concerts (Saturday, March 21, 7:30 PM; Sunday, March 22, 2 PM), please visit the Boulder Philharmonic’s website: https://boulderphil.org/
