Explore the botanical fireworks in a rare stand of tallgrass prairie with OSMP naturalist Dave Sutherland. Bring a camera for pictures to add to your nature scrapbook. Limit: 25 people. CancelDave is an award-winning field naturalist and interpreter who served 24 years with Boulder's Open Space and Mountain Parks, retiring in 2020. He still leads nature hikes on birds, bugs, rocks, flowers, gardening with native plants, stars, local history and much more. Dave has guided education programs in Idaho, California, Costa Rica and the Galapagos Islands. He is a natural science geek who uses games and activities to inspire others with his love of nature.
