This program is geared for Tweens/Teens and their families. Join OSMP Naturalists for a moderate 4 mile hike on one of Boulder's newer trails. This program is all about the wild turkey's living in the area while searching/tracking them in their habitat. Making our way up Mt. Sanitas from the back side we'll adventure and climb on rocks enjoying the incredible views and return in the dark! Please bring at least 1L of water, snacks, headlamp, and layers appropriate for the weather. We recommend bringing trail crampons or spikes for your footwear, but will have extras to loan out if needed. Meet at Lion’s Lair Trail, 1928 Sunshine Canyon Dr, at the big hairpin turn; some parking is available along the road, but we encourage you to carpool since parking is tight. Please leave dogs at home. *Minors must be accompanied by a guardian. THIS PROGRAM HAS BEEN CANCELLED DUE TO THE WINTER WEATHER WARNING AND HAZARDOUS DRIVING CONDITIONS.
