Your Land

67 million years ago a river delta and beach at the edge of a shallow sea made possible today’s amazing White Rocks landscapes. This is one of the most unique places in Boulder, rich in local history, housing plants and animals of exceptional local rarity. Join Wildlife Ecologist Will Keeley for an in-depth exploration of the habitats and wildlife that uses them. Bring water and food as well as sun, rain and mosquito protection. Meeting location will be provided when you register. NOTE: White Rocks hikes are extremely popular but must accommodate small groups. If you have been on a White Rocks hike before, please let others who have not had a turn register first.
