Project Description: Construction at Scott Carpenter Pool has finished and now we have lots of little projects to finish, clean up, and maintain before the cool weather closes the pool. Join us for a morning of landscaping activities and trash clean up around the park. Where to Park and Meet: Please be sure to look at the meeting location on the link at the bottom of the project email titled “29th Street Parking”. When you arrive at the site please meet our staff near the parking lot. Parks and Recreation always encourages volunteers to consider alternate modes of transportation to the project location. What to wear: As you know, Colorado weather can vary greatly throughout the day so please dress in layers - we will be working outside all day with limited to no access to indoor space, For your safety, please wear close-toed shoes to this volunteer project. This project will be outdoors doing landscaping, so long sleeves and long pants are recommended.
