Ranger Rick Hatfield presents the history of OSMP’s cliff nesting raptor management program, how the program adapts each year by using information collected by volunteers, and how we do outreach to the climbing community, the most impacted visitor group when we enact closures to protect critical habitat. Hatfield has been a ranger with OSMP for 23 years and began his association with OSMP as a volunteer raptor monitor in the 1990’s. Registered participants will be sent a link to the virtual meeting space prior to the program start date.
