Earth & Sky

Winter’s stars gleam down at us from a chill, dark sky. There's Orion, belt and dagger; the glaring red eye of Taurus the Bull; and the Pleiades like a faint cluster of pearls. Join naturalist Dave Sutherland for a telescopic peek into the vast reaches of the sky, including the Orion Nebula, star clusters like jewel boxes, and the huge spiral galaxy in Andromeda. Meet at Boulder Valley Ranch / Sage Trailhead. Dress warmly, bring gloves! • Follow this link for a map to the meeting place: https://bouldercolorado.gov/osmp/boulder-valley-ranch-trailhead Note –If there is more than 50% cloud cover at the time the program begins, it will be canceled.
