Ever wondered what to do if you ever needed to coordinate emergency response on OSMP lands? Join OSMP First Responders Jasmine Sim (Ranger), Johnna Foster (Ranger), and David Ford (Recreation Coordinator) on an empowering hike up to Dinosaur Ridge to learn tips in keeping your party safe, and how to coordinate a rescue. Perfect for the novice and experienced outdoorsperson alike, we’ll go over communication with 911 dispatch, and formulating a rescue/evac plan. Bring at least 1-2 liters of water, a snack/lunch, and layers for the elements. Be prepared for wind and changing weather patterns. Meet at the NCAR Trailhead.
