Join OSMP Youth Rangers (youth ages 14-17) for a two hour fishing excursion. This program is best for children who have never been fishing or have limited fishing experience. We will explore fish adaptations and behaviors as well as places to go on OSMP lands to catch bass, sunfish, bluegill and carp. Equipment and bait will be available, but please bring your own if you have it! Guardians must plan on staying with their children throughout the program. Please bring snacks, sunscreen, and water. Children under the age of 16 do not need a fishing license. However, if anyone 16 or older plans to fish alongside the children, they are required to have a valid fishing license. This program is wheelchair accessible. This program is led by OSMP Youth Rangers! The Youth Ranger program offers teens 14-17 years old the chance to work for OSMP and explore different outdoor related careers. These teens also receive career and leadership development as they work alongside natural resource partners to serve Boulder's community.
