Come together to celebrate resilience and community in the outdoors! Help us kick off Out in Nature; a new series of outdoor events and hikes made with love for the queer community. This month, join us for a discussion on the rainbow of diversity in nature, and the opportunity to make new friends. This program is geared towards genderqueer, intersex, and trans folks from ages 13-25, but everyone is welcome! Please bring water, and good hiking shoes for this 1.5 mile hike, and leave the pups at home to protect our sensitive bear habitat. Meet us at the Lower McClintock/Enchanted Mesa trailhead just south of the Chautauqua auditorium near 12th Street. There is a charge to park at Chautauqua on summer weekends, so consider taking the free shuttle to the trailhead or carpooling. Learn more at https://bouldercolorado.gov/transportation/parktopark.

CancelHi there, my name is Kelly Kirk and I am a naturalist and a Certified Interpretive Guide through the National Association for Interpretation. My background is in environmental science, community outreach, and volunteer coordination. I enjoy hiking, taking our cunucu to the dog park, and spending time amongst wildflowers. Nature has so much to teach us, and I am l looking forward to learning together in our beautiful natural system. Currently working on the OSMP trails challenge!
