Sculpted by millions of years of geologic activity, Boulder's White Rocks have been honed into a dynamic and unusually rich landscape, home to myriad plants and animals of exceptional local rarity. Enjoy a slow and meandering exploration of this unique ecological gem, with plant ecologist Lynn Riedel and volunteer naturalist Lynne Sullivan. Bring water and food as well as sun, rain and mosquito protection. We advise long pants, gaiters and closed toe shoes for weed seed protection. Meeting location will be provided when you register. NOTE: White Rocks hikes are extremely popular but must accommodate small groups. If you have been on a White Rocks hike before, please let others who have not had a turn register first.
