Join OSMP naturalists on a quest to see a black bear! (We are not really hunting them...just seeking a glimpse of one.) While there are no guarantees, we will do our best to locate bear activity on our hike. The location will be announced 2 days before the hike but plan on a moderate 2 to 2.5 mile hike meeting at the Enchanted Mesa Trailhead. Parking at Chautauqua and nearby areas. We will learn about Bear behavior, bear biology and why they hold such a huge place in the hearts of most Boulderites. Please do not bring dogs. Please bring a parent or guardian with you, water and a head lamp or flashlight as will come down in the dark.
