CANCELED: Ranger Paula's Wild Wetland Adventure and Planting Project

 04/19/2021  |  01:30 PM - 04:30 PM
 |  Registration Required

Celebrate Earth Day by joining Ranger Paula’s Wild Wetland Adventure and Planting Project. Sombrero Marsh is the largest naturally occurring open water body in Boulder Valley! For Earth Day, join OSMP to discover this invaluable marsh and participate in its ecological restoration by planting native reeds, rushes, and grasses. This wild wetland adventure is geared towards families with teens, tweens and kids seven and older. Every program in the Ranger Paula Wild Adventure series focuses on a different exciting topic. Attend two of these programs and kids are well on their way to completing their Ranger Paula Passport and earning a patch for their backpacks. To receive a passport or patch please email [email protected] and Jenny will mail you one. COVID SAFETY: Due to the Covid-19 virus, we are stressing safety protocols for all hike participants. Group sizes will be limited to 10 people, and you must register beforehand to attend. Participants will also need to complete a brief online training slide show (see below) before registration is allowed. The slide show explains our expectations for social distancing, facial coverings and other important measures to keep you and other participants safe. If you have not yet taken the required “OSMP COVID-19 Safety Protocol for Programs," you will be automatically directed to take that course when you log in to register. Click “Start” to go to the course page and scroll down to click “Start” again to begin the course. It should take about 5 minutes to complete. When you’ve read and clicked through ALL of the course pages using the “Next” button, you will be brought back to the general “Courses” page. Return to this registration web page, and click the Registration link and click “Register” again to be added to the roster.

Maximum Participants: 25
