Join a special morning of Nature, Birds and Art! OSMP volunteer naturalist Kevin Smith will lead a short birdwatchng walk from 8 - 9 a.m. Birders are invited to stay after the bird walk and watch artists in action as part of the Boulder Open Studios Plein Air Festival "Paint-Out" at Boulder Valley Ranch from 8:30 - 2:00. Or, bring your own art supplies and take part as a “Community Artist.” We hope to see plenty of raptors and listen to the beautiful song of the meadowlark and whatever else might be there. The Open Studios Plein Air Festival (BoulderPleinAirFest.com) is hosting 28 juried artists from all over the country, as well as other local and community artists. Meet at Lefthand Trailhead at Neva Rd & 39th, Boulder Valley Ranch.
