Dancing with the Wild - Arts program

 08/15/2020  |  09:00 AM - 12:00 PM
  South Mesa  |  Registration Required

Arts & Music - Youth (8+) and Adults

With trees as our leaders and water guiding our flow, come step into a dance with Nature. We’ll practice listening to our inner worlds, each other, and the Wild to inspire our dance. Writing, drawing and coloring will also be a part of our exploration. Let your hair down, let your breath in, soften your skin, take off your shoes, and grow roots as you step. Let’s find our rhythm with Nature and dance! This is an intergenerational workshop - families are welcome. Due to the Covid-19 virus, we are stressing safety protocols for all hike participants. Group sizes will be limited to 10 people, and you must register beforehand to attend. Participants will also need to complete a brief online training slide show (see below) before registration is allowed. The slide show explains our expectations for social distancing, facial coverings and other important measures to keep you and other participants safe. If you have not yet taken the required “OSMP COVID-19 Safety Protocol for Programs," you will be automatically directed to take that course when you log in to register. Click “Start” to go to the course page and scroll down to click “Start” again to begin the course. It should take about 5 minutes to complete. When you’ve read and clicked through ALL of the course pages using the “Next” button, you will be brought back to the general “Courses” page. Return to this registration web page, and click the Registration link and click “Register” again to be added to the roster. You will not need to repeat the course to register for future Natural Selections programs.
