For thousands of years people have looked at the night sky, spun stories and found meaning. Join Ranger Dave Gustafson in looking at constellations from cultures across the world. Find out what archeoastronomy is and perhaps see a meteor fall from the sky. The Lyrid meteor shower takes place this week! Use Dave’s glow in the dark posters for learning and stories! We will hike across the prairie about ¼ of a mile for this show. Meet at the Boulder Valley Ranch Trailhead at the end of Longhorn Rd. Bring a small blanket to sit on and your imagination. No cell phones or dogs please. This program is accessible to wheelchairs. Follow this link to a map: https://bouldercolorado.gov/osmp/boulder-valley-ranch-trailhead
