Celebrate Pride Month and OSMP’s commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in the outdoors! Boas or bow ties, chiffon or denim, big hair or buzz cut— or a lavish glittery mix— it’s up to you. This 1.5 mile, moderately-paced hike has inclines, so hiking boots rather than heels are recommended. OSMP naturalists will talk about Chautauqua's history, wildflowers, and wildlife, leaving plenty of time to enjoy the views and converse with other hikers. This is an all ages, all genders, all orientations hike: everyone is welcome. (Except dogs. Please leave them at home.) Please bring water and a (fabulous) hat for sun protection. Meet at the Lower McClintock/Enchanted Mesa trailhead just south of the Chautauqua auditorium near 12th Street. As there is a charge to park at Chautauqua on summer weekends, consider taking the free shuttle to the trailhead or carpooling. Learn more at https://bouldercolorado.gov/transportation/parktopark.
