--- Project Site: along and near the OSMP Foothills Trail north of LeeHill Parking/Registration: Cross streets of Denver and 2nd Avenue in Boulder, Colorado Day of Project Contact: Maria Pezza 303-916-6765 Project Volunteers will join staff in collecting Artemisia ludoviciana (prairie sage) for future restoration projects. Preparation for the day, what you will need for the day: --Two quarts of water or camel packs. --Dress in layers. --Work gloves. --Sturdy boots (No lightweight shoes, or “five-finger” types of shoes.) --Long pants. --Rain jacket. --A long sleeved T-shirt. --Personal first aid kit, if you have one (OSMP will have a group first aid kit.) --Backpack to carry personal items. --Sunglasses, hat and sunscreen. --Clothing appropriate for weather conditions. Dress appropriately for Colorado weather and to work in an outdoor setting off trail. If volunteers come unprepared, you will not be allowed on the project site.
