Enjoy an in-depth easy 2-mile White Rocks tour with the specialists! OSMP wildlife ecologist Heather Swanson and geologist Sue Hirschfeld will lead an information-rich trip into this area that is so fragile and precious that it is ordinarily closed to visitation. White Rocks is rich in local history and geological stories, and protects plants and animals of exceptional local rarity. Bring water and food as well as binoculars and sun, rain and mosquito protection. Long pants, gaiters for cheat grass, and sturdy boots are recommended for walking off-trail. All programs are limited to 15 participants. White Rocks are extremely popular but must accommodate small groups. Meeting location will be provided when you register.
