The New Saddle Rock Trail is OSMP’s newest trail and provides spectacular views of Boulder to the east and the Continental Divide to the west. Be one of the the first groups to experience this beautiful new trail through Boulder’s iconic Flatirons on a guided hike! On this short but strenuous hike. Your guide will also introduce you to OSMP’s Trail Challenge to keep you moving and exploring Trails all winter long. Hike Details: DIFFICULT: Approximately 3.2 miles, 1,500ft elevation gain. Expect sections of steep, uneven, and rocky terrain. Please bring layers appropriate for the weather, at least 1L of water, and proper hiking footwear. This time of year, there is often snow and ice on the trails. Metal traction devices (ex: Yaktrax, Microspikes) may be needed. OSMP will have extras on hand.
