Project Description: Volunteers will help remove rocks from around the East Boulder Community Park Dog Park. These rocks have made maintenance of this locations very difficult. We will replace the rock with vegetation that is easier to maintain and keep invasive weed growth to a minimum. Heavy lifting is required for this project. Where to Park and Meet: Please be sure to look at the meeting location on the link at the bottom of the project email titled “East Boulder Community Park Dog Park Lot”. When you arrive at the site please meet our staff just near the edge of the parking lot. Parks and Recreation always encourages volunteers to consider taking alternate modes of transportation to the project location What to wear: As you know, Colorado weather can vary greatly throughout the day so please dress in layers - we will be working outside all day with limited to no access to indoor space, For your safety, please wear close-toed shoes to this volunteer project. This project will be outdoors doing landscaping, so long sleeves and long pants are recommended. What to bring: Tools Work gloves Light snacks Refillable water bottle (additional water will be available) Sunscreen Hand sanitizer Hat Who to Call: Please call Stephanie Swartz at (720)236-3689 if you have any issues finding the project or changes to your schedule the day of the project.
