Have you experienced all 150 miles of OSMP trails? Immerse yourself in local lands with these OSMP led hikes where we help you design your own trail challenge and keep you motivated. As a part of the Trail Challenge Series we’ll explore the unique diversity of every designated OSMP trail. The winter is a perfect time to begin your challenge as you maintain your physical fitness, make new friends and build community. Meet at the Hogback Ridge Neighborhood access (Google Map directions in the link below). This trail is a moderate 2 mile loop with 710ft of elevation gain. NOTE: If participants are interested, we are willing to extend this hike ~2.5 more miles to complete the North Foothills Trail!! *See the CoTrex map profile. This will give you an option for the 2hr loop, or extend the hike to around a 4hr trip. Please bring layers appropriate for the weather, at least 1L of water, snacks, and trail crampons for ice and slippery conditions (OSMP will have extras on hand if you do not own any or need help finding the right pair to suit your needs). Once you complete your own challenge you'll be presented with a ceremonial pin at the Ranger Cottage. The links below are to the CoTrex app describing the route, elevation profile, and a link with further information about the trail challenge.
