As the poet William Watson once wrote about autumn, “O be less beautiful or be less brief.” Fall is a special, fast paced time in Boulder. The plants and trees change rapidly, animals scurry around preparing for winter, and the season holds some of the most pleasant weather to enjoy the outdoors. Join Ranger Kelly McBride on a moderate hike around the Flagstaff and Realization Point area for a hike all about Fall seasonal change. Hike will meet at the Flagstaff Nature Center. Please be prepared for changing weather conditions with extra clothing layers, bring 1 liter of water, hiking shoes, and a headlamp or light (just in case!).
